Hi all,
Im new here, im building a computer and just got my new power supply.
It's an Aspire 680W, it looks awesome!!! BUT!! I plugged it in, and nothing!...does it need to charge? I've got a fan and a light hooked to it, and I get nothing...any comments?

If it's not connected to a mobo, you need to make it think that it is. Take some heavier guage wire, and bridge the green wire connector on the 24pin to a ground (black) wire, and ur good to go.

A powersupply doesn't need to charge.. Just a plug in and play. Can you please fill out your system specs so we can better help you? (click on User CP and system profile

Yea, your PSU won't work unless it is plugged into the motherboard (well, there is ways...) so yea, don't get your panties tangled too soon, wait till the egg brings the mobo.
