Hello!
I recently got 100Mb/10Mb of fiber from my ISP, and I would like to build my own dedicated server.

This server is supposed to host a Minecraft server for about 40-50 people. A game that drains a lot of CPU and ram thought.

The components will be:
CPU: Intel Xeon 1240V2 3.4Ghz 4C/8T
Mobo: Gigabyte ga-z77-d3 (Will it run Smooth 24/7??)
Ram: 16GB Kingston 1600Mhz
SSD: Samsung SSD 840 Pro 128GB
PSU: Corsair TX650 V2 650W 80 Plus Bronze SemiFanless
HDD: WD Black 2TB

Any comments or can I buy it?

My host is using this.

Xeon (2x) 2.8ghz Quad Core, 64gb ram, 256gb ssd harddrives

and this is just for a 30 slot server.
I think that that hard is for a Lot of servers not only yours, otherwise it would cost a lot, I don't think I will have cooling issues as the case will be nearly empty, and the ssd does not produces a lot of heat.

I think that your server would be good. Mine isn't a dedicated server or anything. I only get 2.5Gb of that ram for the 30 slots I have. So 16gb should be nice.

Let me know when you get it up and running. I'll join!
If you don't mind It being a Spanish one i'll be glad to welcome you!
