I have 2x MSI 460gtx and I'm trying to OC them. I'm using MSI afterburner I've unlocked the setting but my voltage only goes up to +100 I've seen screenshots of people having it at +170. How to I get it higher?

I really have no idea what I'm doing if someone can point me in the right direction that would be great.

I'm pretty sure you have to flash the bios to get the voltage any higher. +100 should be good enough, that's what I'm using.

You'll want to use OCCT GPU test. Set clocks to 875ish, if there's any errors after 15 mins, lower clocks. If not, raise clocks until you start to get errors, then lower. Repeat untill you reach your cards' max.

OK let me get this straight. You can only get the voltage to 1.087v in MSI afterburner and you want to know why some people can get like 1.212v? Is that what you are wanting to know?

If that is what you are looking for, you need to flash the 460's to a modified bios that unlocks the voltage cap.

Here is a good thread on it. http://www.overclock.net/nvidia/7819...ap-unlock.html
Be sure to read through a good portion before attempting to flash the bios. Or you will be in ownership of 2 very expensive paper weights.
