New to Overclocking... Is EasyTune worth using?

I just put together this new comp (sig rig) and noticed the mobo utilities included EasyTune 6 which seems to have most of the features I need, but as mentioned I'm not really versed in this so I don't know where to start if I'm going to use that utility. Any thoughts?

Its best to stick to overclocking in the Bios. I installed the Easytune on my Gigabyte board to check it out and it seemed you can change FSB and voltages in it but wasnt too sure of it so i just went to bios.

There should be alot of good info in the Intel CPU and Inter Motherboard forums. check the stickies

Yeah, Do your overclocking in the bios, its more stable that way.

I agree with the others, use the bios. Gigabytes have an easier bios when it comes to overclocking, it's not as complicated as some of the others.

Theres lots of guides on how to get started on overclocking, I'd suggest using the bios, I once used easytuner, it wasnt too great.

Good luck
