what i want to do is over clock my cpu somehow to make my machine run a little faster, i have tried the normal overclock in the bios by upping the fsb manully however the pc wont start up unless i put it back to 133.

im a total novice to this and wondered if there was any simple programs about that would tune my pc faster, i have tried the normal tune my pc and dont get on very well with them, however i do have winaso optimiser which is good and has everything tuned but its still quite slow.

any help would be great,
As the post has been here nearly 24 hours with no reply, does this mean im being ignored, or is my question unanswerable?

I have tried cpubfg9 ( i think it was ) and couldnt get any results from it, it wouldnt let me change any settings.

so i would hazzard a guess that this question is unanswerable.

cheers anyway !

Update your system specs so we can see. I think you should add some RAM to it. Get at least 1GB. Are you on stock cooling?

Oh yeah, I forgot something. Did you build this or you bought it from...<whichever company>.

I have a matched pair of kingston ram 512 3200 ram x 2 yes im on stock cooling, however the fan and block are from a 3.05 machine, so it should be cool enough and yes its a self build.
