I have a Antec 1200 with Asus S2E -has built in water Blocks for some stuff. I was looking for something that will cool for Overclocking (nothing crazy not looking for 5ghz)

So real question is (and i know little about over clocking) what would I need to get for a mid to high end system.

CPU Block? I have a qx9650

Tri SLi GTX 280 Cards -? how hard is it to mount blocks on them what ones shoudl i get?

Water cool ram? worth it?

Pump?

what ever do i need?

Any and all advice is welcome

All of this is IMHO

Swiftech and Danger Den both make nice CPU waterblocks you would be happy with. Radiators are all over the board - best quality and overpriced are Thermochill and Feser, but the Swifttech MCR series are less than half the price and very effective. For the Swiftechs get the 320 as it is thinner than the Feser and Thermochills and with 3 gpus, a NB and a cpu to cool you are going to need all the radiator you can afford. Some people would recommend multiple WC loops. Water cooling the ram is unnecessary. For pumps the Danger Den d-5 is the gold standard but the Swiftech pumps are less expensive and gaining in popularity - variable speed pumps are not essential but a nice feature. Can't help you with your 280's but my 8800GT has a Danger Den waterblock on it. Their products are pricey, but always work, fit and don't leak.

I'm using a D-tek water block for my cpu and for my gpu as well. D-tek also makes a unisink for the 260/280 cards looks something like this when its all said and done
.

I decided not to go with switech for the blocks because of quality concerns, a lot of users on this site have reported getting theirs with uneven bases etc. I'm using the swiftech 320 radiator, but again the quality thing has come up, the rad had rust on it when I got it.

its not really necessary to watercool the chipset..but if you have the cash to burn...it would be great...but watercooling is expensive...watercooling alone costs like a newI7+x58s+ddr3s

but anyways...

wow great stuff!! ok so my last item I will need is do they sell a "case" to hold all the items seperate ? As in all the pumps etc say in a small tower type thing I dont really want to bolt all this to the side of the case and Im pretty sure I cant fit it in the case.

ps I changed my Ram to Patriot Viper 2x2 pc3 16000 Corsair i had could not go past 1700

I don't think there is a case which houses each part in separate compartments. If you want one then I think you will have to mod your case.
