Hey Guys,

I got the parts to make a cooling system from danger den
. I Picked out all the parts. Tell me what you think. I will not go to much higher then my current price ($204.04 USD)

first off its cooling a Intel Core i7 920 I plan to overclock it to 4.2GHz.
My Setup- (some UV parts of from newegg)
Radiator: Black Ice XtremeII Radiator
Waterblock: MPC-CPU - i7 Nehalem/1366 Block (Acrylic Backplate)
Pump: DD-CPX1 12V Pump
Reservoir: Danger Den Single 5 1/4" Bay Reservoir
Tubing: Tygon 3603 Tubing (Clear)

Extra UV Stuff (For looks)
Vizo UV Cold Cathode Light
Feser One UV Green Coolant

All Fitting/Tubing is 3/8

All feedback appreciated

I would not buy the radiator or the water block. I would instead get a Swiftech GTZ/D-Tek Fuzion V2 and a Swiftech MCR-320-QP-K

You are going to need fans as well if you don't already have them. I have read bad things about single bay reserviors being a real pain because they are too shallow. I also dis-like anything acrylic, they are prone to cracking, and thread stripping.

I say again. I really really really prefer to keep it to the same site.

I changed two parts

Water block:
-MC-TDX for Intel I7/Nehalem/1336 (Changed the material to Brass for an extra $8)

Reservoir:
Danger Den Dual 5 1/4" Bay Reservoir

Also those parts are quite pricey. I have already blew up a massive bill with other parts which I am not ready to give up just yet
.

I mean those parts might not be the best, but the point of this thread is too see if this setup will do its job. Not how I can improve.

Also with the antec 1200 will I need extra fans?

I understand about the shipping costs. There are some good sites where you can find everything you need.

Well where do you plan on installing the rad?

Can you see this cart? If not, this is a good site.

jabtech is my 1st choice, they are very cheap on all WC parts
and i'd go for either a mcr320 rad or gtx 360 or even a gtx 480
expecially if you want to push your i7 to the limit.

jab-tech.com
sidewindercomputers.com
frozencpu.com

edit - yes what he said petrastechshop.com
I second that!!

To the OP:
I just bought my WC stuff today around 11 am. And guess what? Its already on the way with a tracking number.

IMHO they are the best and the cheapest site you could get your WC stuff, so give them a try.

Good luck with the build. I guess both of us will have an awesome WC'ng in a few days

Oh, by the way, if you have not checked yet, Jabtech has the Apogee GTZ in stock and so are the Yate Loons and all other stuff you would need to complete your WC setup except for Pt nuke.=)
