I have this card and for gaming it is pretty dang good. I have no complaints. Been using it with my Sennheiser HD 598s and directional sound has been significantly better than my Logitech G930s (bf3 is where I notice the increase the most). I think that for music is where it was supposed to be not as good as some of the older SB cards and some of the other brands definitely are supposed to be better if you are wanting audiophile sound. And I have noticed that music does not sound quite as good as some of my other sources, but I am no audiophile so take that for what it is worth.Originally Posted by Ganf

That's what I remembered. They geared these cards almost exclusively towards gaming and as a result they suffer elsewhere.Originally Posted by glakr
