Is it reliable? I have a 600T and plan on getting some SSDs in a few months. Do I need one?

You don't need one I have a ssd with my 600t the drive trays already have mounting holes fos 2.5" ssd

this is most likely meant for older cases without mounts for ssds

Not any I could think of. But if you are trying to hide cables in the back. There is room underneath the bottom hard drive cage.

I used some of these (similar, but black and plastic, from a different manufacturer) in conjunction with 3.5->5.25" bay converters to move all of my drives into the 5.25" bays, leaving the front two fans completely unblocked by removing the hard drive cages. For those interested, check out the main rig in my signature. I think it cleans up the cabling quite nicely.
