Newegg Newsletters - Don't get email spam = Priceless?

Well I wasn't really sure if I should post it here since its not really a deal, or is it?

It's regarding the people who post the newegg newsletter they get in their email. Apparently your email address is embedded in the links, so delete your email from them when you post it.

Now if you don't mind getting spammed with porn and other things then I guess you're fine. I'm not saying the wonderful members here at OCN will do it, but they aren't only people who use this site.

Link to how I found out about it. Scroll down and read the posts.

Once again if it doesn't belong here, or is a repost, please move it to where it does, or delete it I guess.

I think its common knowledge here not to post your email. And the newegg emails do not belong here as everyone already is signed up to get em. We dont need to clutter it with tigerdirects spam emails either, same with frys and microcenter or anywhere else.

Well the reason people post the newegg newsletters is for whoever isn't signed up for it, even though there isn't anything negatively associated with signing up, ie spam you just get newegg's deals.

Like I said in my original post, your email in embedded in the link you get in the email, so when you do post a link to the newsletter remove your email that is embedded in the link.

If you look at threads that have newegg newsletter links in them, many have the posters email address in the link. (They probably aren't aware of it.)

Edit: Yeah we do know not to post our emails, but if you didn't know its in the long newsletter link then you have to hope you don't get spam sent to you.

i never bothered to post newsletter of any sort here. i mean, you would have already signed up for their news letter if u care about getting good deals from reputable vendors.

it's like " hey, McDonald's has McChickens for only a buck each "

Well, mine don't go to spam, but sometimes I just don't get them, so it does not bother me when people post them.
I did not know the link had your e-mail at the end, nice to know (I have posted them in other forums, but is not an issue since the e-mail account is my spam one anyway).
