just curious thanks for link whats the most this power supply could run for ex...

I have a i7 3700k cpu and a gtx 670ftw now I know it handles that just fine but what if i had 2 gtx 670s?

same situation but what about a 7970 instead of 670 and could it handle 2?

last situation which I might do is have a celeron 1155 socket ivybridge power 1-2 7970s could this handle that?

thanks!

Let's see, 45.5 amps on a single rail = ~546 watts

According to bit-tech a 3770k at stock draws ~ 166 watts and ~244 watts at 4.8ghz overclock on load. Though, those wattages are probably slightly inflated as it includes other components as well.

According to Tom's Hardware, a reference stock 670 draws ~153 watts and ~189 watts on load gaming. 168 watts and 215 watts respectively in a compute workload.

The 7970 is more power hungry than the previous two, at 191 and 269 for gaming and compute workload respectively.

So to answer you question, even at bone stock, two 670 in sli would probably be not a good idea for this PSU.

Because the 7970 is even more power hungry than the 670, that's an obvious no go in crossfire.

Single 7970 or 670 with the 3770k would be fine.
