that would overheat like a mother
Nice, too bad more manufacturers don't do this sort of thing (well, with bigger fans, anyway).

This. Looks ugly and is expensive.

The heatsink is actually fairly interesting (it's a vapor chamber with all copper fins), and apparently cools the card reasonably well.

IT'S FINALLY OUT!!! YAY

but it's clocked about 60Mhz-ish less than the average 260 216sp(most retail versions are slightly OC'd)..... i just realized that that is stock clocks

Not really that expensive anymore, a lot of 260's cost like $190.

It's stock clocked, don't see the issue

I think this card is fantastic. I have been following it for a while. Sure, it's not the newest GPU, but I feel that the single slot cooler (that actually keeps the card cool) is a major breakthrough on a card with that much power. Imagine 2 of these in a LAN rig. Epic.
LOl, the new card for physx overkill.
I'd consider trading my GTX 275 for one.
I guess I was right.... a few did want to ck it out. But I was sure you all would.

I was beginning to think it would never materialize.

Only problem is for most cases you'd have to rearrange your airflow so you don't have your front case fans blowing against their exhaust.

Interesting anyway, maybe I should pick up four of them
. Quad SLI on air

Doesn't Galaxy borrow some of Sapphire's Vapor-X technology? I heard that somewhere, and the cooler looks mildly reminiscent of the design.

At any rate, it's nice to see GPU heatsinks that aren't the size of a small child and still cool relatively well.
