So price-wise this is only a few bucks off the normal cost, but you also get a free SATA cable with your purchase. This is probably one of the best coolers you can get for this price, so if you haven't picked it up and need a good air cooler, grab this. (Free Shipping)

great deal.
Great cooler, kept my 720 very cold while I had it on.
This or Mugen2 for my 965 (C3) 125w?

And whichever one you recommended, what fans do you recommend a well?
I bought the normal one last week. It was around the same price, but it came with a USB extension which I needed. (and, I already have enough decent fans laying around)
This would get a D0 920 to 3.4 - 3.66 (assuming it's not too bad a chip), correct? That's all I want, really, and this is way cheaper than the mega and TRU (especially with included fan).

Would still go for a Megahalems over this. Only 20 dollars more.

DK got my i7 920 to 4.2ghz @ 1.25v. LinX, Prime95, and OCCT stable.
Fantastic bang for the buck

I think I may buy this. Smaller than the (also cheap) Mugen 2 it appears.

Average Megahalems is around 60-65$ without free shipping. In the end you'll be spending around 50-60$ more then the Dark Knight (due to shipping and a single fan). This is a nice simple solution for people that don't really care about the lowest air cooled temp's.

You should be able to get up to 4.0 without a problem. The Mega and TRUE will just yield lower temps on the load.

I've got my 920 sitting at 3.4 right now, so yes. Also the highest I've had my cpu is 3.9 and still never saw idle temps higher than 39-40c. Excellent HSF, plus, it looks hella cool in a blacked out case

No experience with the mugen, so I would just get the DK+any decent 80cfm+ fan + push/pull

I use 2 ULTRA KAZES

You don't understand, it's a premium 1M SATA cable.

A Nippon Labs SATA cable?!?!NIPPON LABS?!?!
I must buy this deal at once!

But really, I just had a really nice case theme idea and this seems like it would be the perfect candidate. I'm sure I could use the SATA cable too.

Honestly, I just posted this thinking it was a good price. I didn't care much about the SATA cable either, but these forums are filled with positive reviews for that cooler and I felt like the deal was good enough to post in this section.
Whoa. This comes with a PREMIUM SATA cable? Well that settles it!

Thank you, Newegg!

Same, 21C stock idle (31C max), 24C 3.6GHZ idle (35C max) is a good cooler.

I may end up with one temporary so I can at least do 3.4-3.6 safely.. anything is better than the stock cooler lol.
