screwe it, just ordered, thanks for the heads up! repped
I'm sorry but this is ridiculous to me. I think spending a bunch of money on a "gaming mouse" isn't worth it, let alone a mouse pad. I use a crappy cheap optical mouse directly on my desk and I play games just fine.
razer ones are bigger and the same price.

I see having a nice mouse, but I agree with the mouse pad. I got my 3 buck custom one from Artsnow

But nice find nonetheless.

I've gone through many expensive gaming mice including several logitechs and razers. I'm currently using an OCZ Dominatrix and love it. I find it better than the Logitech G9.

The nice part is that its under $30 retail.

I actually spent more on my mousemat (razer exactmat). I have to say, I love it. The wristrest alone is worth it.

the xigmatek looks nice but I doubt I will ever replace my Icemat2. The G5 with those teflon pads slides over the glass pad so smoothly its incredible.

I am still using the G5 and I need another one to go with my laptop, unplugging the G5 everyime driving me nuts, do you have the link for that Dominatrix? not coming up from newegg website.

p.s. the smoothness on this Xigmatek pad is incredible too, I think is the surface material, I thought it was plastic but I tried to scratch it with my plastic ruler and end up losing a corner n my ruler ruler instead of making a scratch my pad...so funny.

having a bad mouse pad can kill the bottom of a high end mouse quicker then good mouse pads that reduces friction so it increases your mouses awesomeness lifespan

The only thing I'm not fond of for the super smooth mouse pads (like the speed side of my rocket fish) is if anything close to the size of a crumb gets on it, it's THE most annoying thing when your mouse 'slips' because of it. I've had to lightly nail file the feet of my Razer DeathAdder a couple times so that "sound" would go away. Drove me nuts...but I've cut down on eating at my desk
.

I honestly didn't know anyone still used mouse pads anymore--I've never had a problem with an optical mouse not working straight on the desk's surface (except on a black surface).
mr. douche some of us have desks that mice can't read. exactmat wears quickly but its not bad. goliathus anything is trash I used and sold it, too much friction. Razer destructor is actually better than the exactmat to me.

anyways mtbiker! how the hell can your mouse run so smooth on a icemat2? Are we talking about low friction, i.e. flicking the mouse and it moves on it's own because that wouldn't happen on mine. I cleaned it with hot water/dried then even used alcohol on the pad and feet of a new mouse deathadder/g5 and theres still friction. Wither amazon sent me a defective or something is very wrong here. I wish there was a youtube video of someone actually using an icemat I really want to see how good its "supposed" to be..

yeah I can flick the mouse and it keep on sliding, really slick surface I love it. I do have to clean it allot though and I also cover it when I'm away to keep dust from getting on it. You did have the teflon pads for the bottom of your mouse? You can buy the teflon pads from frozencpu.

eh, i prefer cloth surfaces to metal mouse pads.

LONG LIVE RAZER!

yea it came with teflon pads, but I'm thinking something was wrong because near the bottom of the pad I could feel this texture like a glue or wax and it wouldn't come out no matter how hot the water was or how hard I scrubbed. Alcohol 99% isopropyl wouldn't work either. Now I'm wondering if I should reorder another..

It's weird because I put the pad in the light and I couldn't see that glue/wax/texture thing. But I could touch it and feel it. I triple checked the mousefeet and even cleaned the included teflon mouse feet but it just had friction...
