i cant seem to manually control the fan on my friends asus 4890 its running 10.2 i tried the following all have failed

ati overdrive
riva tuner
ati expert tool

cleaned drivers tried again
new user profile

temps are in check they don't even get near 70C in game but id like to manually set the fan rather then it gradually going faster as it gets hotter.

any ideas i don't feel like reinstalling the os because it was working at one point in its life. although he did get it for 80$ so maybe thats what its problem was

Try the MSI Afterburner. I'm sure it will let you control the fan, just un-tick the Auto button.
