well i got drunk and took the IHS's off of my 3500 and my opty 165. it acutally dropped my temps on the 3500 but i am having a problem w/ my opty. its not wanting to get below 35c core temps. whereas my 3500 was getting around 25-27c. i've seated and reseated my opty probably 4 times. do i need to just let it sit overnight and maybe cure or what?

the 3500 i had a few nicks and cuts on. the thing about it was i was trying to suicide it, but at 1.65v the max load temp is only 47c on core. it won't boot at 1.7v though

btw here's some pics

Nice pictures. Looks like good work to me. It's expected that the opteron would still be hotter as it's a larger core and puts out more heat than the 3500.
