no video on M4A785-M

hey guys i recently gave my uncle my asus m4a785-m motherboard and he plannedo n using the onboard gpu, we plugged in the vga connecter and we got no picture the system is running but no video?

when i had it, there was a gtx 470 plugged in the pcie could this shut off the onboard gpu? if so how can i fix this

btw we had to have 2, 2pins plug into the 4pin can this cause it?

Boot it with the GTX 470 then go into the bios and set it so that the onboard VGA is the first to load.
dont have the 470 on me at his place
Remove the CMOS battery on the motherboard for about 1 minute.
mine setss auto. my guess would be the power setup
im at home now and i did that i removed it for 2mins and put it back in.

so ill try and put my 470 boot it with that and reset cmos
what do you mean by 2x2 pin plug? as i said i can shut off my pc right now , take out my 450 and boot right up on integrated. i have the exact same board...my guess would be something else
