well, i just finished my first night shift at tesco, 2100 to 0600, and i'm on again later 1800 to 2200. the weird thing is i'm not tired, and i've been up for nearly 24hours. all i've drunk is water, so no caffiene, and i feel fine.

anyone else work nights, and if you don't - you should! the pay is better...i'm on £90 a week for 12hours work ($170US)

I know what you are talking about, I used to work 40+ at my day job and 25+ working as security at concerts. With all of that time being used I only slept for like 2 hours a night and I always had energy.

It's amazing how that works.

I work night shift also. I like working night shift, it's peacful and quiet. I have to work 36Hrs (3x12hr shifts) one week and 48hrs (4x12hr shifts) the next week. Ya thats right, I get a lot of time off, LOL. The hardest part is getting my sleep schedule back in order after the last night worked, which is tonight, YAAAA! I will be off for 4 days straight until next thursday night. Thats why I love my job, LOL
