I can't speak to those particular headphones but every Sennheiser product I've ever owned has always been great quality materials and sound.

I would recommend the Ultimate Ears Triple.fi 10 IEM's.

I own these and they're great. I just find IEM's better for travel. The sound quality is great and any review will tell you that. Some people have reported fit problems with these, though. I have smaller than average ear canals and the smallest set of rubber tips (the IEM's come with multiple sets of tips, including a set of Comply Foam tips, to get the best fit) works well for me. There's also a piece that wraps around your ear, which works well for keeping the IEM's in place.

I don't think you need something like the PXC450. I would just choose something with good isolation such as the Audio Technica A900s or Sennheiser HD 25-1 II
