As long as load temps are okay. For a northwood, you want to keep them under 50C. As long as that condition remains satisfied, you should be okay up to 1.7v.
Bumped it up to 1.7V. runs fine Load temp is around 38C. So your saying I can move the voltage up again if this happens to me if I decide to oc higher. Just as long as it stays under 50c. Right?
I ran my 2.8C at 1.75 volts for a good couple months, and my 2.53 at 1.8v+ for a couple weeks. While I personally wouldn't recommend it if you're hoping to keep your processor for longer than six months, it's your hardware.
