Imma keep this simple. I have a HX850w. I noticed the Sata power cables have 4 connectors to one cable. I have 2 HDDs, 1 SSD, and the optical drive. Any issue with how many things you power with one cable? I was thinking using one cable for the three storage drives, then one for the DVD drive.

Nah, it's fine. It's designed that way so that it's possible to have something plugged into each one. So, it's safe and there won't be a lack of power (especially with the HX850).

Agreed, 100% fine. The HX850 (brilliant PSU by the way) has cabling strong enough to run double that number of optical devices off that chain, if it had the connectors for it. It also has plenty of juice to back that cabling up. You have zero possible problems there.
