Hi guys.

I am building a HTPC.
I have run into some problems and any help is appreciated

I am running an Athlon II x3 445
An Asus m4a88t-i Mini itx board

The board has COre unlocking feature Which i thought was great
It is a triple core at 3.1ghz
95w tdp

I was excited to run it at quad so i went ahead and unlocked the 4th core. Originally thinking it wouldnt work.

Well it did. Now what it says is The board doesnt support the cpu.

Is there a way to get around this I am a noob. Can underclock it so it will run properly?
thanks

Likely the board can't handle the TDP from a quad.

Yeah thats what it seems like. Unfortunate.
I disabled core unlocker back to triple its such a pity.

It supports quad just only up to 95w tdp

this must up it to 125 or so.
