Noobs guide to i7 920 overclock?
Hello, I just built my new system, and I have an i7 920 in it, and I'm wondering how to overclock it from anywhere to 3.6-ghz. I have an Asus P6T Deluxe V2 mobo, and a coolermaster V8 (people recommended it for overclocking).
There's just one problem. I have no idea how to overclock. The only overclocking I've done it with my 4870 graphics card, and thats just because Catalyst control center lets you do it with sliders. People have posted links to a lot of guides, but I have no idea what all these multipliers mean. Can anyone give me step by step instructions for this?
