i have the [email protected] cpu client running on 2 cores of my cpu, using 100% of them, and i get ~260ppd. Is this too low? I haven't seen any post saying what is the normal ppd for core 2 quads...
I think i'm using the normal cpu client. I coundn't understand if there is a tray version of the smp or just the command line one.
There's no system tray version for smp, but with the bonus points it's definitely worth it over the normal cpu client. Even without it I think it does better.
go to the high performance section of [email protected] website there you will find the smp cilent, simply put a short cut on your desktop and right click proprieties and add -smp in the target line
