Anyone else kind of dissapointed with the new 7900GTX??? It's only marginally better than the 7800 series. Granted, the 7900GT looks to be the new 6600GT as far as a "bang for buck" value is concerned. That's a great card for the price. But overall, the 7900 series was just a tweaked 7800 with a new die size to keep up with the X1900. not exciting, lol

I'm glad I bought my 7800GTX when i did. i'll just SLI it when the prices go down a bit, and i'll have plenty of performance.

I might be wrong as people keep telling me different things but the 7900 series is the G71 is it not? Nvidia's baby so to speak isn't out yet (rumoured June) there is not alot to say about it as its abit top secret from what I gather the only specs I hear over and over is that it is called the G80, its a true dual core GPU, estimated speeds of core are 800-1100Mhz and Ram of 2.5Ghz, DDR4 Ram and SLI ready, now if thats true its worth the wait.............The speeds seem really high tbh but could you imagine the power if thats what they are???
I like to think of it this way. Lets say they come out with a new sound card thats better than your 6 month old one. Its a sound card, who care unless it really stinks hehe. Are you really going to care? Are you really gonna be able to notice the difference in 99% of the things you do? Prob not, unless there is a major upgrade or you get 2 years behind the times I cant see it really mattering. Just my opinion
