Is it ok to Not use the Catalyst Control Center. Just install the driver only and use MSI AfterBurner to control / Monitor the fan speed and temps?

Im not using CCC for now, and my temps are lower in games. =S

Yea, CCC is pretty limited as you can't set custom 2D and 3D profiles from what I can tell. Also, can't set fan speed curves. Also, the Auto Tune feature of CCC doesn't work for crap. CCC is good for alot of things...but ATI overdrive isn't one of them.

i wonder tho, whether you need CCC to enable crossfire. i only use it to tweak certain settings, but have it disabled or passive (rather) upon boot, so i can obv tweak voltages.
