NTFS partitions shouldn't be more than 85% full?
A hard disk guide said "NTFS partitions should never be more than 85% full". Why? My system pops up a baloon when about 100MB is free on a partition. I have a 64GB partition, and 85% of 64GB is much bigger than 100MB! Should I trust the guide or the system's baloon?
Right now I can only think of one use to leave 15% unused---you might need to install a new multi-GB game later and you don't wanna delete anything.
Note: I'm talking about a data storage partition, not the partition where system files are located.

well if you defrag a drive you need 15% free to make it work. You can change teh amount at which teh baloon pops up in control panel somewhere
