hey i finally got some cooling on my Apollo GeForce FX 5700LE a few days ago and with stock cooling i could OC it to 350/430 stably. now i bought this fan (http://bfgtech.com/fan.html) and these RAMsinks (http://bfgtech.com/sinks.html) for like ~$36 at compUSA. now i can OC my card to 375/437 without any artifacts on Far Cry with MEDIUM settings. its quite fast but i mean is that a good jump in performance? in Aquamark 3 i still get the around the same amount of FPS on the high rendering stuff but maybe just like 2-3 frames more. is a 25/7 jump good for the cooling i bought? i tried to hit the numbers to 450/450 but it was full of artifacts, and if it wasnt full of artifacts it locked up on me. im using the Visiontel Xtreme G drivers (latest from guru3d.com) on NV4x Quality box checked during setup. can anyone help me out on how to get my clock numbers up? ive heard someone on newegg.com who bought this card get 300/500 with stock cooling. oh yeah my card is 128MB on PCI bus. specs:
P4 2.68GHz
768MB RAM
120GB HD 7200RPM
15" LCD
Win XP SP2

Don't always trust what you read as a review from any store. That seems like just a little jump and you could probably have done without it. But every little bit helps. You probably won't get any more out of your card except possibly with newer drivers as they come out without going to more extreme cooling.

Bump up both of them, but I think you're prolly limited by the RAM. Nothing you can do about it, it has a limit. Maybe lower it back down a bit and bump ur core up some more.

wow. for some reason i managed to get the core up to 500 without any problems. played Far Cry on Med. settings wihtout ANY artifacts. clocks are 500/430. whenever i try to bump the RAM up the test thingy on the nvidia CPanel says it wont run and ish like that. so basically the only way to bump up my performance is to wait for new drivers and ish?
