they're only about 10-15% apart, so not much difference unless the game you're playing is really loading the 260M and giving low FPS, then the 280M would perform noticeably better
Memory Specs:
Memory Clock (MHz) Up to 950 MHz
Standard Memory Config 1 GB GDDR3
Memory Interface Width 256-bit
Memory Bandwidth (GB/sec) 61
MXM Type MXM 3.0 Type-B
some info there on the specs, i dont think there is a major noticeable difference gameplay wise, maybe an extra 2-3 maybe upto 5 fps but would it be worth the extra cost i doubt it
erm,... well, on the other side of the coin, u can rarely upgrade a laptop anyways, so its realy upto u if the price is right, if u want "pottential" better performance ill go for the sli 280m, but if u want price/ performance ill go for the sli 260m,

Yeah, I dont usually feel the need to run games at the highest settings anyway, often on lesser settings you get an advantage =] lol
I'll go with bang for buck on this one... 2gb ddr3 of graphics power is pretty damn good.
