Ok lets say... I got a 9800gtx+, and next month i bought a 9600. How would my PPD be affected? Would it bring the 9800 down to the 9600 or would both fold at their full potential?

They will both be used to their full potential. You can run as many GPU clients as you wish.

Since when?

Every time I mixed different sp cards the weaker card always lost ppd, the stronger card was not affected.
This was on the 181 drivers.

Well

Mixing a 280 and 260, the 260 went from ~8k down to ~4.5k.

Well maybe G92s behave differently under these circumstances.

Maybe, we need a definitive answer.

I'm inclined to believe it purely SP related.

The 9800gtx+ is a awesome card man, I had 2 in SLI for a good while. It wont dissapoint you.
