Hey, I'm kinda of new to overclocking, not that new tho.
I had my CPU at 3.0Ghz and it wasn't working correctly it would freeze up and sort of crash I think I may have had the same problem on a different computer when the voltage wasn't set high enough. What would you guys recommend I put the voltage to, so I can achieve 3.0Ghz Stable? and also what would you recommend for 3.2Ghz? 3.2 is my goal.

My Rig

Intel Core 2 Duo E6420 w/ ASUS Arctic Square @ 3.0Ghz, ASUS EN9800GTX+ DK (775Mhz Core Clock), 4X1GB OCZ Platinum 800Mhz, Asrock Penryn1600SLI-11DB, 320 SATA + 80 SATA, Logitech G15 v1, Logitech Z-540(5.1), Digital Precision Gaming Headset, Razer DeathAdder, Antec Nine Hundred w/ Corsair 750W, 20" LG Widescreen LCD

Whats your "VID".

I had a E6420, would do 3.2 with 1.35Vcore.

Whats your Voltage for 3.0? I know its not stable..but just to know.

I was at 1.45v lol at 43C 100% usage in 3dmark06 cpu test. put it to 1.35v it seems to be working fine 34C 100% usage, does anyone believe in burning in a CPU (to run at lower voltages) or is it just bull*****? Also something to add had to bump up chipset voltage to 1.51 to boot with 400FSB(3.2Ghz)(1600FSB) but won't make it to the os. put chipset back at auto.
