Well I just dont have the money right now to upgrade AMD dual cores or intel core 2 duos. i want to upgrade my processor...so seeing that places are charging 300 bucks for the skt 754 AMD 3700+ Clawhammer i refuse to buy it from them for that price. so what processor and brand is the best overclocker so i can overclock to the 3700+ speed of 2.4ghz?

YOu can OC your NEwcastle up to 220 FSB so you can reach 2200MHz!
Newcastles don´t oc well! If you want more, get a Sempron 64 2800+ or 3100+ or any Turion MT not the ML - series (they suck in ocing like your newcastle) !
What Ram do you have?

well for less than $170 you can upgrade to a opty 144 venus for $77 at new egg and a 939 motherboard heres an example http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813136163
you can upgrade pretty well.. and that opty has a good chance of seeing 2.7 to 3.0 ghz depending on the stepping you get.

I have a 754 pin Settup and a 3000+ Venice at 2.5Ghz 250 FSB with my value ram running at 500mhz

The 3000+ Venice is cheap too

Some options...
1. A good FHS on the cheep that works good for either 754 or 939.
http://www.provantage.com/arctic-acfzp64~7ARCT002.htm
Use that to OC your current set up further or...

Get a " ADA3700BNBOX" 3700+ @ about $97 which should OCwell. do NOT get the " ADA3700CFBOX! http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819103539
Pair that up with a Biostar T Force 6100 939 for about $70 and you'll do well.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813138264
You will have to look elsewhere, it's out of stock

Normally you can say if you oc a (for example) 3000+ from stock 2000MHz to 2500MHz you have a 500MHz gain so double it and add the 1000 to your rating (3000 + 1000 = 4000) so get 4000+ rating!

Please correct me if im wrong!

Well an 3400+ has a speed of 2.4ghz with a L2 cache of 512Kb

An 3700+ has a speed of 2.4Ghz but with a L2 cache of 1Mb

So mines running a little better that the 3400+ becouse the 3000+ only has a L2 512Kb cache

As for the upgrade for under $100.00 you would be best served with the 3000+Venice 754 for $67.00 here
Or for a jump up in price to $155.00 for a Turion 64 MT32 here
