Hey everyone, Im planning on building a high end gaming rig for Haswell 4770K, trying to find out what is best RAM kit to get or which kit has the most sweet spots for OCing a Haswell; All below mentioned are 2 8GB module kits;

A 16GB kit 1600mhz (8-8-8-24),

A 1866mhz (9-9-9-24 or 8-9-9-24),

A 2133mhz (9-11-11-30/31)

OR

A 2400mhz ( 10-12-12-31 or 11-13-13-31)

Please let me know your thoughts and sugesstions.

From experience, I have found (9-9-9-24) ram running at 1600mhz to be the best for overclocking.
RAM shouldn't really have that much influence on Overclocking a CPU these days. Specially not for the Sandy, Ivy and Haswell series. I myself tried different RAM with different timings, capacity and bus speed, none of them changed the way the CPU overclocked.

If your talking RAM overclocking i'm not sure which RAM would overclock/perform the best. However i found that the Corsair Dominator Platinum 1600MHz CL 9-9-9-24 did a very good job(compared to other unsuccesful RAM OC i tried). Managed to push it to 2133MHz CL 10-11-11-29 @ 1.57Volt.
Ive made my mind up, I will be getting and 1866MHz Crucial Balistix Tactical 16GB Kit 9-9-9-24 or the Balistix Tactical LP 1600MHZ 16GB Kit 8-8-8-24
provided your mobo supports it, the higher frequency ram will almost always provide more bandwidth, even at looser timings, than the lower frequency ram. For only $5 more than Ballistix Tactical LP 1600MHz I'd look at
