Hey,

I've been learning c4d lately so i decided to make a couple of backgrounds for the forum, all available at high res


Single CPU



Cloned CPU



__________________________________________________

All backgrounds are available in the following resolutions:
  • 6400x4800
  • 1920x1200
  • 1920x1080
  • 1600x1200
  • 1680x1050
  • 1400x900
  • 1366x768
  • 1280x1024
  • 1024x768
All the images for each version are in 1 zip file (sorry it's the quickest way to do it) The first version also includes a transparent png.

could you export to xml [kerkythea] ? if it has actual size , if not not worth time.

rare I change my background anymore, but the single looks good with my rainmeter setup, guess ill rock it for a bit.

Fantastic wallpaper, I love it. +rep.
But... I have to ask, what socket would that CPU be? I'm thinking 1156 or 1366 because the notches don't match a 775.

Cinema4D was used for the render.. then the colours were touched up in photoshop, and the depth of field was done in photoshop for the second one because cinema4d kept screwing it up after like 5+ hours of rendering ¬.¬, i don't really have any tutorials for it, it was mostly simple shapes but here's some links to show you some techniques

It was kind of based on the 1366 socket, i was going to use core 2 quad but it looks more badass with the pins on the top, i tried to make it quite accurate so there should be the right number, and in the right place, i might go back and do the bottom of it too, but that could prove insanely awkward to get right
