Hey guys, I had a 2x1Gb OCZ Reaper 8500 @ 1111Mhz 2.1v, 2Gb wasn't enough ram so i bought 2x2Gb OCZ Reaper 8500 to team up with the one i already have.

The problem is they wont work both if clock is higher than 667mhz :\\

I've upped the voltage to 2.2v and changed the timings to 6-6-6-16 and even so they wont post :\\

Any ideas?

Thx 4 reading

Update the BIOS to latest version of your motherboard and you should also reset the CMOS for sure. It's not about dram voltages or the timings. Are you sure that they are all same ram sticks?

I've reset the CMOS 3 or 4 times. No they're different sticks 2x2gb and 2x1gb...

I'll upgrade the BIOS and see what happens...

Ive upgraded the BIOS, its the same thing. Both kits work but only if they're alone. Together they only work @667Mhz 5-5-5-16 2.2v. 2.1v won't post either.

edit: tried to 'OC' and it wont post beyond 730mhz, besides with the two kits it wont boot windows even at 667Mhz.

edit2: I been trying other things and i found out that 1 of the sticks is faulty. It will BSOD if ran over 667mhz. otherwise the 1x2gb kit works great @ 1066mhz with the 2gb stick that isn't faulty. I'll RMA it...
