For what you are doing, yes 4gb of RAM is a great option, and those OCZ stick will work just fine. You might need to reset the BIOS after changing RAM.

Clear the CMOS. You can either do that by taking out the battery on the motherboard for a couple a minutes then putting it back in or you might have a little jumper (look in the manual for CMOS reset or something for more help)
