well it looks like finally I will be getting my rebate card after waiting longer than I expected on the OCZ Vertex I bought in December...

just letting people know how long it takes for them to send out the rebate. They make you wait close to 2 months it seems.

Haha, they make you wait longer than that.

When I sent mine in I got confirmation 6 to 8 weeks from the date of acceptance. That was the 6th of March. Yesterday was the 5th so I made it known that I wasn't happy on newegg @ both my KB(OCZ Sabre) and PSU(500w ModXPro), soon as I got the KB one up the Rep there responded with "email blahblahblah" and "10-12 weeks".

So I emailed the address and let them know everything I had as requested by the Rep. I also explained what I was told both at acceptance and by the Rep.

They responded back today telling me that it's "8-10 weeks"

I just responded to them telling them, that I'm not doing this dance. If I don't see them by the 10th of this month(plenty of time to get from San Jose, Ca to Washington State) that I'm done with OCZ.

I told them there is no reason to sit on accepted rebates for two months like they're trying to hatch golden chicks.

I had planned on getting an SSD from them in the future but not now. That Corsair drive is looking more and more attractive by the day.
