Odd issue with booting

So, when I have my computer set to boot off of my SSD, it gives me a message along the lines of there is not bootable material on here, insert proper media and press enter. However, when I set it to boot from my DVD drive (with the windows DVD in there, it won't work without), it goes through the Press any key to boot from DVD or whatever, but when it finishes the countdown, it boots windows perfectly fine. I would like to find out how I can fix this issue.

For anyone wondering I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-Bit OEM

Is your SSD one of your boot options? I had a similar issue until I set the proper boot options in my BIOS.
I am fairly sure that it is a boot option and it does not like to boot off of it unless it goes through the press any key to boot from CD or DVD process

Edit: It is properly set as the first boot option and everything, it just won't boot from the ssd until after the press any key to boot from CD or DVD screen is displayed
