OEM means original end manufacture, basically it means you're buying something not retail and you'll probably just get the unit, a basic user package and no warranty.

Once i ordered OEM and got all the little pieces and stuff that comes with retail. Sometimes your lucky, other times, your not.

with cdrws, dvd roms, etc. youll usually get the necessary cables, a brief manual and sometimes a cd or two... whereever you buy from make sure they post pictures because you can call up their support line and say the pics included this and that and theyll usually ship it to you
