Wow, that didnt take long. Out of stock already! I love your style of thinking good sir. I got one 680 already, waiting for the msi reference ones to come back in stock so I can scoop up an identical one, and then most likely 2 ek nickel full cover blocks and backplates. Probably going to be the most expensive build I have ever done. I normally go with the x60 or x70 cards, this will be the first time I went x80.

Im looking foward to seeing some comparisons between the 670 and 680. From what I have heard they are very close indeed.

I'll have an eVGA 670 with backplate on Monday/Tuesday depending on how far the packages get tomorrow, so I'll have pics then.

My guess is the reference cards and the MSI/Asus heavy hitters will, though typically only EK will do blocks for those custom PCBs.

Noise is better contained than in my GTX680. The fans do get loud above 80%, but if you OC the card and set it to auto, it's pretty quiet. Now all this depends how cool you want the card to be when OC'd. But as far as out of box...it's very quiet.

Waiting for the twin frozr edition as they are always my favourite card's. Tho the reference evga oc with the white strip looks so freakin nice, but I would prefer silence over astetics.
Will be an owner soon
Especially if I cave waiting on the twin frozr to come out and grab the evga.

Just got mine.. Haven't overclocked, but my Gigabyte boosted to 1175 core clock in Furmark and BF3.

Adaptive vsync is awesome, no input lag.

Maxed out BF3 in 1080P and GPU usage is strange. Only 60% with VSYNC DISABLED. Framerate seems to be in line with online reviews.. Is there something off here?
Specs below:

2600k @ 4400
120 SSD
Gigabyte GTX 670

Cool, thanks. I guess I'm gonna pick this card up on Monday.
