Well as I have stated before my Palit RTX 3080 Ti Gamerock Oc appears to be stuck arpund 400watt even with the added 440watt max power limit. This means that even with card maxclocks at 2175mhz the average clocks would be around 1965mhz.

I tried Strix, Suprim X and FTW3 Bios but no difference or worse. Then I saw this Galax 1000watt bios. So I tried it, my word the difference is great.

Hello together,
My Rig :
Ryzen 3900X / ROG Crosshair VIII Formula / Zotac RTX 3080 TI Holo & Alphacool Eisblock Aurora / 32GB G.Skill DDR4 3200Mhz / Samsung M2 Pro 980 /
BeQuiet Dark Power Pro 12 1500Watt / Denon AVC X4700H / Samsung 82Q70R

i am NEW in the theme Undervolten. And have today made my first attempts with the theme. Here are my results

0,975mV - 2100Mhz
0,900mV - 2040Mhz
0,875mV - 2010Mhz
0,850mV - 1980Mhz
0,800mV - 1875Mhz
0,762mV - 1740Mhz

In each case 30 min 3DMark and afterwards 30 min Metro Exodus.

Now my question so in the round :) Are the values good ? I have saved with the values 100-130Watt, and the power is enough loosely.

Anything I vlt still should do or MUST do ?

Thank you
LG
Dennis

higher I do not dare :)

Has anyone tried to flash their Gigabyte 3080ti Eagle to another bios yet? Maybe to the Gigabyte 3080Ti GAMING OC or something else?

You are metro stable at 2100/0.975 😯

I mean you could keep pushing it and see what higher voltages do since you're on water.

I can do 2025/0.975 on air but start getting diminishing returns. Depending on the load due to power limit I'm anywhere from 2130-2100/1.068. These cards would scream with 500-520w.

I'll just repost this here. Sorry for the repeat if you read the EVGA forum also.

Really shouldn't think you are losing a lot of performance with a 450w PL. Here is a comparison of my card running the stock bios and the Galax XOC 1kw bios.

https://www.3dmark.com/compare/pr/1142595/pr/1141140#

https://www.3dmark.com/compare/spy/21730937/spy/21731450#

I ran the Galax at 500w+ with it sitting on the voltage limit for the entire run. Just isn't much left. My card doesn't OC too well, both are run with a +165 core offset, +1100 mem. I was manipulating the VF curve for the Galax runs which is probably why the reported core clock is 15mhz off between the 2.

With a water block and more tweaking, the Galax could probably score higher of course.

Even with my rog strix 3090 on air, I have difficulties to get those scores 😅

what is your card model ?
You are on water ?

Suprime X bios for some it works well.
This is a problem with the native BIOS, perhaps palit will fix the situation.

I have a FTW3 in EVGA's hybrid kit. So just ok temps as you can see from the average shown in the runs. My Zotac 3090 in a full custom loop does only perform 300-400 pts higher running the KP XOC while running 15C cooler. Vram OCs better on my 3080ti which helps it some relative to my 3090.

Wow, impressive scores. I'm on 2-pin 350W limit (Asus TUF), your graphics score is 11% higher. Man does that thing gobble power. Nearly 50% more power than 350W for 11% more performance.

Hi folks. I am about to join the party :)
I have almost sold my 3080 Suprim X.
Now I am about to pull the trigger for 3080 ti. I have to choice between EVGA FTW3 Ultra, MSI Suprim X and Palit Gamerock OC.

Money wise evga is cheapest offer, twe other two are about 100eur more.

I have alphacool water block from my previous 3080 suprim x and it is directly compatible with 3080 ti suprim x. That is why I lean more to MSI.

But regardless of that, what would you suggest me to get in context of quality, stability and power delivery (VRMs are different on each of the above cards).

Take it from someone who changed multiple rtx 3080, 80ti, 90s :

IF YOU CANNOT SOMEHOW TAKE A STRIX THEN GO WITH MSI SUPRIM X.

There you have it, if for reasons unknown you decide to go with one of the others please sell me your waterblock :p

Last time I asked, there wasn't a build of ABE that could read a 3080Ti bios. Been a while though.
Would you be able to ask again? There is no other way to verify the difference in PCI-E power limits among the all 3808Ti and 3090 bios.
Nevertheless 150W 8-pin limit is really stupid. I know that it is for every PSU even the cheapest one but still 4.16A per pin is nothing. MOLEX offers connector MX-44476-3112 with rating of 11A per pin and it is not even gold plated.
Two years ago I have build a mining rig with 5 Vega 64 on water and have used those pins. Measured current 7A per pin which gives 252W per 8-pin connector. Last week was brought to me for coolant replacement (second one). Pins were clean an shiny with no heating evidence.

We had Evga gtx 780ti classified with EVBOT, that drew ~650w ~1.35v with 2x8 pin :D

What did you set your power limit to?

Can you post a GPU-Z sensor graph from your Time Spy score?
One with the max values of PCI-E and 8-pin sockets powers?
