theres now people copying the dlss.dll of R6S and putting it in older dlss game and seeing image improvement, yall should give it a try. im gonna test cyberpunk if image and performance will boost a little
Tried CP2077, can't really pick any differences, quality or FPS. It's at 4k Psycho, Performance DLSS.
Watched youtube CP2077 new,old DLSS, also can't pick any differences in the image.

i use a curve on my 3090 kingpin stays around 2140 to 2160 gaming benchmarking it hovers around 2170-2210 when i use my dip switches.
do you use the dip switches in combo with classy tool? Unless I’m mistaken (which I might be), I was under the impression that the dip switches are just a “physical” voltage adjustment.

or do the dip switches allow more voltage?

I havet found a copy of classy tool yet that works with the 3090 kingpin hc i think i have to flash the 1k watt hybrid bios to use it and havet done that yet. I was under impression with dips you can increase voltage by 100mv and turn a load line setting on also not alot of info out tho.

What’s a safe voltage for hours of gaming, in your experience folks?

I find CP2077 is the crucible for any overclock, it will crash in a few seconds or minutes if I push beyond a 2010mhz overclock on my Strix; I can go +1200 memory and lock the voltage at 1.081 at 2010mhz and it’ll run all day long, but not sure how healthy that is for the card (under water, temp hits max of 52C). What do you folk use in terms of voltage?

If the card will let you run it without an external voltage controller, it's completely safe.

I have this exact case too, and used to run the same rad setup before I switched to giant external rads in the basement. The metal is pretty flimsy but the size and configurability is amazing.

😲that’s awesome, what card (your bio says a 1080 but I’m assuming it’s not that)?
My zotac 3090 xoc vbios also holds 2160 1075mv +1500mem on games, control , cp2077,etc.

But 2130 1040mv +1500mem is only 1fps lower
and 2115 1018mv +1000mem is 2fps lower on those 2games

Usually those high voltages are when I was looping TE GT2 2,4h which ends up stable in games.
I'm curious if games actually can go lower on the core voltage, they are not 600w like TE.

And... I got bored testing CP2077, room is getting hot, AC is off lol, 29c water 40c core, up to 500w
+1518mem
2160 1043mv is a hard crash at 5mins
2160 1050mv holds, stopped after 40mins

yea for 120 shipped i paid for my case and picked it up at my local walmart its been a great case i got mine dec 2016 so shes will be 6 years old soon. It was one of the few cases out back then that was even remotely water cooling friendly without needing to do alot of modding yourself.

That’s incredible. The Kingpin bios (then updated to rebar BIOS via X1 precision) worked well on my Strix but since I cannot reliably monitor power on it (3rd pin showing nothing on any monitoring software) I got worried running it so flashed the FTW instead.

you should have a working tool. I’ll send you a copy of what I’m using when I get home. found it on the EVGA forums. In my case, the tools works with 520w bios too, don’t know how effective it is though.
Yeah, it’s oddly hard to find info on the switches.

also, tested win11 and dropped by 400 points so am assuming it’s far from optimized at the second.

well, i gambled my luck today... I cancelled my order with EKWB for my FTW3 FCWB with Active Backplate as it was atleast another 2-3weeks out, and placed my order with Bykski as theiers was released today for this GPU..... Ive never owned a Bykski product so im hoping their quality is atleast like EKWB's and im hoping i dont have to play any games with thermal pad thickness. Im hoping what it ships with will provide optimal results. Id ask if anyone has 1st hand experience with this setup yet, but it was only just released today for the FTW3 cards. Should I order 1 - 1.5mm pads just incase? and what is your opinion on Bykski products?
Here is what I ordered Bykski Full Coverage GPU Water Block w/ Integrated Active Backplate for EVGA RTX 3090 FTW3 Ultra Gaming (N-EV3090FTW3-TC)
