64 is overkill unless you are using quite a few apps and have tons of music and movies.

When I bought my iPhone 4 I got 32 because I knew I didnt want to run out of space. Sure enough after I loaded it with everything I wanted I used 17GB. So its a wise choice to at least go 32.

As far as 3G goes. Mine is wifi only. There are only a few times that I can think of where I wish I had 3G but with so many wifi spots in the world at gas stations and mcdonalds...you honestly dont need it unless you are in the car in the middle of nowhere or on vacation.

The reason I'm getting 3G over just wifi is the fact that it's costing me a mere 100 more for the 3G version.

32GB seems like a sweet spot too.

I personally would get he 64gb wifi over the 32 3G. I have a 64 from my work and it is nearing full. 3G is too expensive and if your phone can tether, which mine can, it is useless, albeit convenient. Internet everywhere is quite nice...

But get the 64, much more practical.

yeah, definitely get 32. I have a 8gb iPod touch 4G, and I really wish I got the 32GB now.
I'm just putting a lot of my stuff on Dropbox now...

If you have alot of music, the compress songs to 128kbps AAC option will cut the size of your music down to nearly half. I have 20gb of music on my 16gb iphone thanks to compression and still have room for apps and pictures

I would get the 64 but it's just simply out of my budget

I think the 32GB is going to be the sweet spot here

Yeah I have the 16GB iPhone 4 and with everything loaded onto it I have maybe 1-2 GB left. So it seems the 32GB would suit me better.

I would tether but it's not good for battery life on either devices.

My situation: 16GB Wifi iPad 2 for $580 or 32GB 3G and Wifi iPad 2 for $680

It's not attached to a plan. And it's unlocked. So I can go month to month if I wanted to with any provider.
