I'm working in an hospital and got somewhat of a big problem right now.

The computer used with a bioscanner is infected by a virus probably due to a nightshift idiot...

the virus is antivirus 360.

Norton antivirus corporate updated cannot find/fix it.
googled fixes are BS trying to make you pay.

Please help if anyone have successfully cleaned antivirus 360 (the virus, not norton 360)

PS formatiting is not an option with all the specialised hospital care progs on it...

I'd say malwarebytes.

ha i just removed this off my roommates computer. i deleted anything and everything related to this thing including the registry entrys it created and it still wouldn't go away.

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/malw...-antivirus-360

go down to the bottom and download malwarebyte's anti-malware. its free, and it will get rid of it. avg, spybot, everything else won't touch this thing.

Rename the programs exe file.
Some viruses detect these programs names and wont let them run.

Yea my parents computer has that one also. It's bad, my plan was to reformat it. I tried malware bytes previously and couldn't even get it to install.

I fixed this issue for the guy that owns the corner store. As far as I remember, the only way I was able to finally rid him of it was to do a search within windows for any files related to that antivirus 360, then boot into safe mode with command prompt, get to the directory where that virus thing is installed, and delete the folder from within DOS.

I wish I remembered more of it exactly, but it was a while ago. I do know that he hasn't had any problems with his puter since. Also, before DOS try to remove as much as it will allow you to, and clear any info referring to it in the registry.

Hope you get it sorted out!
