Ok, so i've got myself a really nice 1080p video (that loops very nicely), and i'd like to make it my screensaver.

Now, on my other computers which are running completely stock windows 7 installs (stock services enabled, etc.) it works just fine. However, on my main rig, I get "An error is preventing this slideshow from playing".

Im fairly certain it has to do with the services tweaks I did, but im not sure which service in particular is causing this. If it helps, I think its also the service that has caused my "Turn Windows features on or off" list to be completely blank.

Can't say what service it is for sure, but check out this utility: http://www.thewindowsclub.com/smart-a-utility-for-tweaking-windows-7-vista-xp-services

You can set back to Windows defaults or choose different tweaking levels so I would just try it and see if your screensaver works then.
