Alright, I just installed an old school stand alone system from Corsair called the HydroCool 200, this is not the ex version. For my cpu block I have a blue swiftech, pin matrix version, not sure what model, paid 35 for the whole setup. Wife is pissed because she found my Fry's receipts from the last two months, and I don't want to spend too much on cooling my Northbridge. Problem is, my NBridge is getting WAY hot!!! I mean, my skin almost stuck to it hot... Any suggestions at a reasonable budget???

Due to the heat, I had to drop from 1130 to 1120 on the fsb... What other settings have an effect on the Northbridge???

thus far I have the stock red asus heatsink on it without a fan. I reversed my exhaust(closest to the Northbridge) so the air is blowing on it. So, you're saying I need to get another with a fan on it possibly? I apologize for the seemingly dumb questions, but I'm relatively new to this. I've has at least a dozen bluescreens today due to heat or otherwise. As to the question regarding upping the voltage on the Northbridge; I have yet to up the voltage. Still stock for now. MB temps are at 30C thus far, but I'm sure that doesn't reflect the Northbridge too much...

On the link to the cooler, would I have to connect that with thermal tape?

You might want to add active cooling on your NB as was previously pointed out..You mount your NB with TIM just like you would a CPU, AS5 or Ceraminique are good ones....
