After some testing performed with a X2 3800+ in order to show the difference between a use of 2 SP2004 ran at the same time with "Affinity" mode enable and with this mode disable; I've decided to share my findings with the forum.
I guess it might be of interest for all dual core processors enthousiastics.

In fact, it wasn't clear to me what's really happening when enabling or disabling the testing affinity of the 2 CPU's cores.

TESTING DETAILS

1) 1st CORE selected and individually loaded (i.e., affinity enable): 50% of CPU, 100% of CORE 1, 0% of CORE 2

2A) 1st CORE only selected (i.e., affinity disable): 50% of CPU, ~75% of CORE 1, ~25% of CORE 2
2B) 2th CORE only selected (i.e., affinity disable): 50% of CPU, ~75% of CORE 1, ~25% of CORE 2

3) 2th CORE selected and individually loaded (i.e., affinity enable): 50% of CPU, 0% of CORE 1, 100% of CORE 2

4A) 1st and 2th CORES selected and individually loaded (i.e., affinity enable): 100% of CPU, 100% of CORE 1, 100% of CORE 2
4B) 1st and 2th CORES only selected (i.e., affinity disable): 100% of CPU, 100% of CORE 1, 100% of CORE 2

5) 1st CORE selected only (i.e., affinity disable) and 2th CORE only selected (i.e., affinity disable): ~100% of CPU, 100% of CORE 1, ~100% of CORE 2

6) 1st CORE only selected (i.e., affinity disable) and 2th CORE selected only (i.e., affinity disable): ~100% of CPU, ~100% of CORE 1, 100% of CORE 2

As can be seen, enabling or disabling the affinity mode while running 2 SP2004 at the same time makes no difference on the CPU loading.

Thx mate; this X2 takes 2450MHz for only 1.31V and allows me to take a screenshot @2906MHz for 1.55V... nice chip indeed!
