I would suggest a P35 or P45 board. My board works except for the vDroop that it did have but after a little penciling it's down to a normal level. But maybe I got really lucky iduno.
Yes, if you specifically intend to OC you should avoid going with budget/trimmed-down chipsets like P43. Do yourself a favor and grab a solid P45 board from the likes of Gigabyte or ASUS
