Open game with F: instead of D:

I want to install a game on my F: drive that has 152 GB on it, but the game has a default setting to install it on my D: drive that has no space on it.
How do I make the program install in the F: drive?

Uhhhhh assuming this is a serious question...

Just choose custom install when running the games installer and generally there will be a screen that allows to change the default location.

Yep.

That, or you could do some registry editing and move all the paths to the F Drive, and move the folder from where it originally installed to the F drive.

Well I would think it obvious that this option is not there.

Can you explain this a little more? Thanks for your time.

How so?

I have Installed so many games and programs and have not come across a single game/program that does not provide a means to install to a custom path.

Sorry I'm not a mind reader.

Could you possibly provide a screenshot or two of the install process? I'm sort of with gill here as I have yet to see a program or game that will not allow you to install on whatever hard drive you want.

+1

Its clear you're not using steam as steam always defaults to C:

If the game can be installed on D:, it can be moved to F:

ITT: Op is a failtroll, he wont even tell us what game he installed.

Not saying programs don't default to a particular drive, but the option to change the directory has always been there, even on a lot of my old games.

I have Steam installed on my G: drive.

Not using steam and the game should not matter. Did not give me the option.
Thanks for the input.

I uninstalled my game just to prove a point that you are kind of stupid for not listening to everyone here.

Thanks for calling me stupid. Until I change my drive paths the game would not let me get that far because drive was full. Try it.
I used to think you where a stand up guy, here to help people but you proved me wrong.

Your C: drive is full? You said your D: drive is full.

You are making yourself look stupider and stupider. Just stop it already...

The game will extract to your C: Drive, and even then, it only extracts a hundred MB for the installer, the data copy is uncompressed on the fly and copied to the destination from the source (assuming the CD)

A stand up guy? I don't do comedy, thanks for pointing that out. I do love helping but you are failing to help yourself

This is why we need to implement
