Did you know that the Xbox 360's use hitachi hard drives? yes they are reliable i use my xbox 360 HDD as an external has been working good for 2 years nw.

That's not a bad price for a 3 TB..

I have two of their 1 TB drives in my fileserver (members of a 6x 750 GB RAID5 array).
Have been reliable (3 months on one, 1 month on the other, granted that's not a huge amount of time) and are quicker than anything else in the box.

I've been using Hitachi ever since I first heard it used to be IBM. Just remember one thing, popularity does not = reliability.

Newegg has the rpm incorrectly listed, the correct number should be 5940rpm.
